Airports are situated in the vicinity of most of the largest cities in Poland. They are serviced by many international airline companies. Flight Connections
Around fifty cities in more than thirty countries maintain direct flight connections with the capital of Poland. Okecie Airport in Warsaw is a stop-over for around 25 airlines, among them British Airways, SAS, Air France and Lufthansa. Poland also has direct intercontinental flight connections with the USA, Canada and Israel.
Airports in Gdańsk, Katowice, Szczecin, Poznań, Wrocław and Kracow have international connections. There are also many airports in Poland which operate domestic flights.

Most of the Polish airports are also used for domestic flights; however Warsaw Airport offers the most connections and the majority of air passengers visiting Poland will arrive and connect at this airport.
The main carrier in the country is Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT (www.lot.com). It offers regular connections to 49 cities in 28 countries. Except for the LOT, many other airlines offer flights to Poland: Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Lufthansa, Swissair, SAS.
