Love Poland Sp z o.o is a Polish company based in Warsaw, Poland. We own and operate the award-winning travel & tourism portal, "Love Warsaw" which now covers all of Poland and has dedicated sections covering Krakow and Gdansk.

The Directors of the company have many years experience of working in countries all over the world including Dubai, USA, Australia, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, the Baltic States and Spain. We are a dynamic, modern, forward-thinking team of professionals with experience and skills covering the provision of New Media solutions in addition to having a wealth of knowledge about conducting business in Poland.

Aleksander Domaradzki - Operations Director & Chairman

Aleksander (Aleks) Domaradzki

Graduate of Cambridge University (Magdalene College) - History & Philosophy of Science (MA Hons).

Aleks started his professional career with Ernst & Young in London in 1990 as an audit assistant. During his four years of experience in London he spent several months of each year taking part in privatization projects in Poland. In 1993 he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA - ICAEW).

In 1994 he joined Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Warsaw, Poland. In 1997 he first started specializing in the transport and logistics industry as the audit manager and senior manager responsible for audits of major international clients such as PLL LOT Polish Airlines, Schenker, DHL and several others.

In 1999 he transferred to the Sydney, Australia office of PricewaterhouseCoopers to join the newly formed Transportation & Logistics Sector Advisory Team. On his promotion to Director in 2001 he became the Deputy AsiaPacific Transportation & Logistics Sector Leader and the Leader of the Cargo Management Re-engineering team in Australia. In Australia he worked for clients such as Qantas, Air New Zealand, Ansett, Patricks, Toll Holdings, DHL, TNT, Schenker, NYK, Shipping Australia, Deutsche Post and Australia Post.

In 2003 he rejoined the Polish practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Advisory Practice and since then was the Transportation & Logistics Sector Leader for Central & Eastern Europe. From 2004 he led the Polish Transportation, Infrastucture and Public Sector Team and between 2004 and 2005 he was the Global Aviation Team Leader. During his time with PwC he worked for all their major sector clients and also for various FMCG clients on supply chain related issues. His major areas of expertise are revenue maximization/cost optimization and process re-engineering projects. His specialist sectors are Logistics, Aviation and Airports and Posts. In 2005-2006 Aleks was part of the advisory team which advised the Polish Government on the successful bid for the hosting of the UEFA EURO 2012 football championships.

Aleks is one of the most easily recognised faces in the Polish T&L sector having spoken at or chaired many of the industries premier events. He also has 18 years experience as a trainer and facilitator. Aleks is much published having written numerous articles for Polish and international industry publications and is one of the most quoted industry experts in Poland.

In April 2007 he joined DGL Polska as a partner, in September 2010 he became the managing partner of DGL Polska. From May 2011 he is also the CEO of iLogis Sp. zo.o.

David Roche - Digital Director & Deputy Chairman

David Roche

David joined the British Army at the age of 17 and qualified as a Combat Medical Technician in the Royal Army Medical Corps. During his career, David was identified as having a talent as a trainer and spent much of his time as an instructor in multiple disciplines such as small arms weapons, advanced first aid, unit expeditions, Nuclear Biological & Chemical Warfare & Navigation. Following in his father's footsteps, David was quickly promoted through the ranks and at the age of just 27 he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. After a 13 year career; which saw David working in many different countries around the world, he voluntarily left the Army to pursue a career in civilian life.

In the two years prior to David leaving the Army, he attended college and passed a HNC in Business & Finance; which paved the way for him to start a new career as a Financial Advisor. During the next 6 years, David passed his Advanced Financial Planning Certificates and worked for a variety of companies such as Sun Life Unit Services, NatWest, United Friendly and SFIA Mason & Mason.

As an Independent Financial Advisor, David specialised in School Fees Planning helping parents to plan for the costs of paying for private education and university and during this time he was offered a position as Sales Director for a newly-formed Internet company where he was responsible for worldwide sales of a patented search algorithm. In order to be successful in this role, David learnt how to design & build websites and became a specialist in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

David remained at this company for 4 years prior to being headhunted as an SEO specialist by Switch Media PLC. There he recruited and managed a sales team and was responsible for SEO development for the whole of the UK and Ireland.

After 2 years with Switch Media PLC, David was offered a senior executive management position at Trinity Mirror PLC, the largest newspaper company in the UK. There he was responsible for the recruitment, training and management of the Digital Development Team and New Business Development. Working with his team, David developed numerous well-known websites and was a key member in the £6 million aquisition of Rippleffect, a leading digital communications agency responsible for the development of numerous Premier League Football Team websites including Everton FC, Arsenal & Manchester City. During his time at Trinity Mirror PLC, David worked very closely with many high-profile business people including the Board of Liverpool FC & the Capital of Culture 2008 team.

In 2009, David was tempted away from Trinity Mirror to work as Digital Director for a new media company with business assets in Dubai, Las Vegas, Ireland and Spain where he designed and launched a number of high-profile websites based around travel & tourism. This was a short-term assignment (10 months) and during this time, David lived in Mallorca, Spain.

In 2008, David began work on his own travel & tourism website, Love Warsaw prior to moving to live in Warsaw, Poland in October 2009 with his partner, Iwona. Over the next 19 months, David continued with the development of Love Warsaw; which involved the integration of 3 further websites based around Poland, Krakow and Gdansk and also worked as a freelance web designer and SEO specialist for a number of clients around Europe.

In July 2011, David made the decision to make Love Warsaw his primary business and with his new partners, formed a new Polish company, Love Poland Sp z o.o.

David's responsibilities within Love Poland Sp z o.o. include the management of the SEO and Web Design teams, New Media business consultancy and sales in addition to the role of Vice Chairman.

David has been a keen sportsman over the years and has represented his country at Tug of War (640kg & 560 kg). As a child, David fenced (foil) for Arnold School and Lancashire School Boys.

David's passions in life are his children, Chloe & Tom, his partner Iwona and his football team, Everton FC.

Joe Tunney - Finance Director

Joe Tunney

Joe, a proud Yorkshireman, has worked in finance positions since 1971 in a wide variety of industry sectors, including express logistics, automotive components, light industry, toys and software consulting and project management.

In his long career, he has worked for companies as diverse as Federal Express, Fisher-Price Toys, Quinton Hazell, GlaxoSmithKline and Janssen-Cilag.

Since 1992, he has lived and worked in Poland, holding senior finance and board positions in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. During that time, he has managed teams of various sizes and gained experience in the dynamic Polish environment. He has experienced many different business cultures and been through most categories of business change – hostile acquisition, takeover, merger and reorganisations and downsizings.

He has a deep understanding of business systems and the ways in which management can best be served with the information needed to control the business and drive it forward.

He brings to LovePoland, the vast experience of living in this rapidly developing and dynamic country for almost 20 years.

In the little spare time that he has, Joe loves to cook, appreciate fine wine and follow sport, especially his beloved Manchester United.

Bernard Łukomski - Lawyer

Bernard Łukomski

Bernard Lukomski graduated from the Warsaw University Faculty of Law in 1993. He became licensed tax adviser (no. 145) in 1997 and attorney-at-law (no. WA-4443) in 1999.

His main areas of expertise include taxes, fiscal criminal law, insurance law & divorce law.

Bernard is the Lawyer who deals with all Love Poland Sp z o.o. legal matters and is also our preferred recommendation to individuals or businesses who contact us in relation to finding a quality Lawyer in Warsaw or Poland.

His 17-year experience was gained while working for and cooperating with recognised international and Polish law and audit firms such as KPMG and White & Case. He was also a managing partner of the tax practice of Dewey&LeBoeuff Warsaw Office and the biggest Polish law firm DZP supervising numerous projects and transactions from the tax perspective.

Bernard Lukomski has advised clients in the following, among others, sectors: banks, investment funds, insurance firms, car dealers, developers, telecoms, and supermarket chains with respect to all every day tax matters and tax planning.

He is author of numerous tax publications and was speaker at a number of tax seminars and conferences.

Jimmy Bradley's Irish BarProject: Jimmy Bradley's Irish Bar

The Love Poland design team were contracted to produce a new website for Jimmy Bradley's Irish Bar in Warsaw, Poland in 2010. The team were given carte blanche on this project with a simple brief to make the website look Irish. The team were also contracted to write all content for the website with an SEO brief to position the site highly on Google for a search of, 'Irish Bars in Warsaw.'
