ANTYRADIO COVERBAND - (Genre: Rock)
Antyradio Coverband (4CQ) are as the name suggests the official coverband for ANTYRADIO. A talented bunch of musicians who have many years of gigs behind them, 4CQ now specialise in playing well-known rock songs. They have a good following due to their ability to create a professional and spirited mini rock concert wherever they play. The best place to check out 4CQ is at Herezja Restaurant Gallery Club Warsaw where they put on the Antyradio Cover Live Stage every first Friday of each month. This is a series of strong, loud rock concerts where you can dance away to your favourite rock songs in a great club with a great atmosphere...
V.O.A. - (Genre: R&B / Rock / Southern Rock)
V.O.A. first played to together in November 2010. From the outset it was clear that the musicians brought immense talent to the table, yet each coming from a different genre of musical expression from the others. Nevertheless, after a few practice sessions, their first gig took place in Warsaw's Tortilla Factory on February 17, 2011 under the moniker "Acme 23". The name was soon changed to V.O.A., and since then the group has composed a repertuar of over 18 original songs of blues-rock fusion creating a sound all of their own. Those lucky enough to have seen them in any of their six concerts thusfar have prised the energy and originalty of the band. But who is V.O.A.?
Noel Coutts - (Genre: Blues)
Noel Coutts is unique - a musician, poet and storyteller who divides his time and talents between Europe and New Zealand. Noel and his friends built a loyal fan base playing gigs throughout New Zealand's South Island for many years. As Custer's Last Band they could bring the house down with their unique country blues style Noel calls "Rockacowblues". These days Noel chases the summer, playing in Europe mid year and returning to New Zealand for christmas. He is a regular on the Warsaw Music Scene.
ThE BlacK HorsemeN - (Genre: Gunshot Metal)
ThE BlacK HorsemeN plays "Gunshot Metal". They play music with powerful vocals, powered by Overdriven Electric Cello with a great stage presence and atmosphere. You just can't get their music out of your head once you have listened to them! The band formed in 2001 in Warsaw as a project of a few teenagers fascinated by bands such as King Diamond, Queen, Manowar and Kiss. They went on stage, always wanting the roof to explode with their energy. Soon in 2004, after their singer MeroT (who's voice has a very wide range) won the TV music show "Szansa na sukces" ("The chance for success"), they played on the prestigious Polish music festival "Opole". To this date, they are the only metal band ever to play on "Opole".
Holy Water - (Genre: Blues & Rock)
Holy Water started back in 2005 and made it their mission to re-introduce Blues Music to the local music scene after many years of that style of music being absent. Originating and playing out of Łomża, the band play the Warsaw Music Scene as often as they can. Back in 2005, Blues was not understood and not popular in many parts of Poland with the exception of Warsaw; however the band carried on spreading the Blues message to their audiences whenever and wherever they could. Over the years, the band has changed several times but the style of music has remained constant with creativity, image and style being unaffected...

Out of love for music and beauty of Poland's indigenous language, "Forest Sprite" was born in the year 2007. Closterkeller - (Genre: Gothic Rock)
Closterkeller is a Polish Gothic rock band from Warsaw. It was formed in 1988 by Przemyslaw Guryn, Jacek Skirucha, and the vocalist Anja Orthodox. Despite many changes in the band's line-up it has created a characteristic sound. Orthodox is the only member of the original line-up, performing continuously for over 20 years. The band is called one of the forerunners of gothic and atmospheric rock in Poland, they are also under the influence of music styles such as new and cold wave or even heavy metal. Many other groups like Delight, Moonlight or Artrosis said they took their inspirations from Closterkeller.
Maciej Dłużniewski & Zderzenie - (Genre: Blues, Rock)
Take a guitar (sometimes two), an organ, a rhythm section, drums, low bass and a passion for rock & blues. Then mix that with a great stage performance and you have Maciej Dłużniewski & Zderzenie. The band was initially put together by Dłużniewski Maciek, who had previously performed with other bands such as High Voltage, The BohoGang, Bluesquad and Mira Kubasińską. Our dream is to reform Polish blues and covert fans of other genres to start to enjoy blues music.
Nasty Habits - (Genre: Punk Influenced Rock 'n' Roll)
Formed in 2005 in Warsaw by Mike [from UK] and Dan [from USA], then Ewa [PL]. Coming from different backgrounds, we found some common ground musicaly . The idea was to play some kind of 'Punk' and 'Goth' music. However, the final product started to get more punky. So the result is a nice balance of Old School Punk and Post Punk, reminiscent of Sex Pistols / Damned meets UK decay / Bauhaus meets Cramps / Stooges. The latter being Ewa's influence on the band...
Of No Avail- (Genre: Melodic Death Metal / Metalcore)
The band was formed in 2007 at the initiative of guitarists: Adam Jurgi and Rafał Ciołkowskiego and drummer Bogusław Buczyńskiego. Of No Avail struggled initially to put any tunes together until in January 2008, after joining them, bassist Mateusza Domagalskiego and vocalist Łukasza Jefimowa's input enabled the band to move forward. In April, the band made its debut on the stage of a student club Groom. The successful debut becomes a contribution to the further writing copyright works and regular appearances on the Olsztyn's stage...
Das Moon (Genre: New Wave)
DAS MOON is a new project from the founders of Rh+ a collective of audiovisual performers from Warsaw who have produced art, electronica, experimental and film music since 2002. DAS MOON offers a slight departure from Rh+ aesthetics. This is alternative pop - Combining new wave sound and sexy electro bravado, It brings together a combination of raspy beats, synthesizers, guitar, bass, percussion instruments, and Kamila's defiant vocals. Video projections are also an important ingredient in DAS MOON's performances. The group credits Einstürzende Neubaten, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Nico and Velvet Underground among its main inspirations.
Poligon nr.4(Genre: Grunge, Seattle Sound Scene, Punk Rock)
Jodam and Gutek met on grunge message pit. There was a time when they didn't have a "job" in any band and there was a chance to play together. Poligonn nr. 4 was created between june and august 2008. Our sound is a mix of a grunge, seattle sound scene and a punk-rock. We played our first gig in 31.03.2009 at Warsaw club called "No mercy". Till the end of june of 2010 we were working on pre-production of our first record. Meanwhile at the end of 2009 Adam Najman became our new drummer and everything was finally ok. At the begining of 2011 after a two years of cooperation we singed a contract with a biggest independent label record in Poland - SP records...
Sexbomba (Genre: Punk Rock)
The band exists since '86 and was born in Warsaw Zoo. We were Zoo workers and one day we decided to play punk rock. We wanted to play fast and full of energy music supported on riffs, rythm and simple melody. Rock'n'Roll with punk rock means many songs with strong choruses. The lyrics are simple and sencere and are not going to teach anybody. Things have changed but we still play the same kind of music. SEXBOMBA played many concerts (on all big festivals in Poland). In '90 the band played in USSR.
CREE (Genre: Blues Rock)
The band was created in 1993 in Tychy. The impetus for the band came from Sebastian Riedel and Sylwester Kramek. The band’s name was invented by Rysiek Riedel, Sebastian’s father, a legendary, now deceased, singer in a band called “Dżem”. He was always fascinated by the history and life of Native Americans. In 1997, the band made its nationwide debut – the group played at the First Festival of Young Culture at the „Stodoła" club in Warszawa. In the same year, the band won the Grand Prix of the Sixth Olsztyn Blues Nights Festival. Then the group gave a concert at the „Fama" festival in Świnoujście. This performance was recorded by the Polish Television.
Splendor (Genre: Hard Rock Disco Pop)
Since their emergence, five years ago, on Halloween, when they cleverly used “The Nightmare Before Christmas” theme to set the tone and mood of their performance, Splendor has been steadily attracting an enthusiastic fan base and considerable media attention. In the months that followed their debut, Splendor began it's growing legacy of live shows, appearing with Poland's and international top rock bands. However, despite Splendors participation in traditional rock venues, they are independently gaining a reputation for breaking established stereo-types and setting new performance standards which allow them to spread their (spectacular) wings as they fly into the obscure territory of the avant-garde.
Chemia (Genre: Rock)
"Chemia" is a new and absolutely unique phenomenon on the Polish rock scene. The band members had waited very long to eventually meet in one time and one place. They also waited very long for one secret coincidence that allowed them to form the band "Chemia". It all started in 2007, when Wojtek Balczun who had "few" musical ideas influenced by his friends - well known Polish musicians - decided to blow life into his ideas. Through Andrzej "Emol" Kowalczyk and Marek Raduli he hooked up with the Polish guitar hero - Zbigniew Krebs. Balczun - a well known manager dynamically evolving in the world of business, and Krebs - a renowned professional musician with great technique and imagination... They both felt that THIS IS IT!
Czarny Kapelusz (Genre: Rock & Blues Rock)
Black Hat (Czarny Kapelusz) is, in fact, a history of two men: myself (Pawel) and Robert. We've known and played each other for 10 years already, we've started from complete guitar zero. One day an idea has come - let's form a band and play some music. Shortly after, the idea was brought into life. Our musical beginnings are not so interesting, better not to talk about them. Real band history has started in 2007, when we have met Maciej and asked him to sing with us. In 2008 we've managed to record a demo-album, but unstable personal situation inside band made it impossible to record a full-size album. In May 2011 we started to play with Piotrek (bass) and Pete (drums)...
Xanadu (Genre: Progressive Rock Metal)
The band Xanadu was founded in May 2008 by a couple of local musicians, who felt the need to play ambitious music with a hint of melancholy, yet with some rock inside. This is, in a sense, a continuation of "the old Xanadu" from the 90's - Hubert Murawski (drummer) binds the two bands. Until the time the promo album was recorded in the current lineup ("Violent Dream" - summer 2010) the band was working on their unique sound and compositions, settling the final lineup. In our music we try to bind our personal musical fascinations, put them together to create some universal message.

Iubaris (Genre: Metal / Alternative Metal)
Iubaris was created in January 2008 by two guitarists Antares and Erthun. Drummer Kabuka and bass player Aquila joined soon, completing the band's line up. Their musical style is a mix between many classical and modern genres of metal with raw black metal. After Aquila was replaced by Vulpus, the band released it's first official demo in the beginning of 2009. In the year 2010 the band entered Sounds Great Promotion studio, recording the first 4 tracks that will end on the Ars Sathanae debut album. Iubaris played many live shows across all Poland, and participated in different independent metal festivals. They performed with bands like Christ Agony, Furia, Fulcrum, Unborn Suffer and Pleroms Gate.
Yoga Terror
From the beginning of 2009, experimentalist lead guitarist Michal Truong, of Vietnamese origin; his brother Krzysiek, a gifted guitarist; progressive drummer Kuczy (Przemek Kuczynski); absolutely mad bassist Daniel Podsiadlo, and Peruvian lead vocalist Luis Escobedo, have been leaving it all aside but their commitment to the making of just the music that would consume their and your full energy, and that above all else, that celebrates diversity, promotes tolerance, fosters the understanding of differences, and brings one more spark of optimism under the name YOGA TERROR.
The White Mouse Band (Genre: rock and roll, rhythm and blues, rock, blues)
A group of musicians from Gdansk fascinated by blues and rock and roll of the 50s and the 60s. The band refers to this particular period in music history in their works and the intriguing sound of vintage amplifiers and guitars. Tzar (Genre: Power Metal)
The band was found at the beginning of July 2010 in Pabianice, Poland, when Sebastian Pluta (drums) found out that playing only for his neighbours' anguished ears is too little for him. Michal Andrzejczak (guitar), freshly nourished after hurting his fingers with playing J.S. Bach's Toccata y Fuga on his guitar for the first time suggested him to make a band and play METAL. Soon Pawel Kulesza (guitar, vocals) joins after he watched Megadeth's concert and decided that this is exactly what he wants to do in life. Followers of Light (Genre: Rock)
Followers of Light is one of those bands, that was created to play rock. And it keeps on playing rock. And it still wants to keep playing it in the near and far future. Since the it's creation in 2006 by three handsome young men, the band has been writing it's own songs, because (first of all) there was no sense in playing music that had already been discovered and (last but not he least) they didn't really know how to play on their instruments. During the next few years that knowledge became a little bit more accessible to them and, at the same time, two other young men (maybe not as handsome as the three others, but still useful in a musical way) joined the band...

Nocna Zmiana Bluesa - The Blues Nightshift - the most popular blues band in Poland. Established in 1982 by its leader Slawek Wierzcholski - a harmonica virtuoso, singer and songwriter. The band have played thousands of gigs throughout the years in Poland and all over Europe in countries such as Russia, France, Greece, the Nederlands, Sweden and even in Zimbabwe. They opened for The Blues Brothers Band (Nürnberg 1989) and B.B.King (Warsaw 1996). Zły Sen Blues Band - Bad Dream Blues Band - (Genre: Blues)
The band "The Bad Dream Blues Band" was established in 2009 in Puławy at the blues club "Oscar". There were the first rehersals full of ideas, the first jam sessions, then the first gigs on the club stages of Lublin district. We performed at "the Blues Stage" in Chatka Żaka" at Iuvenalia in Lublin. Later there was "Ścinawa Blues upon Oder" festival in 2011, where our guitarist and vocalist (Przemek) was chosen the best guitar player in an amateur bands competition, which took place for the first time at the festival. In our repertoire we have blues standards as well as our own compositions...
Deadline - (Genre: Metal)
Deadline is a music band from Tychy (Poland) formed in 2004. Deadline music is hybrid of heavy and melodic sounds with thrash metal and melodic death metal influence. Synesthesia - (Genre: Progressive Rock)
The band (at that time using the name Ab Aeterno Project) was created in April 2007. First there were only three musicians - Artur Rodzaj, Michal Krupinski and Rafal Bajorek, who left the band having played for a year. His place was taken by Pawel Ogorzelec, who brought his brother Piotr into the band. The music is quite hard to classify, it is a mix of soft, clean sounds mixed with hard, trashy progressive riffs interlarded with electrical violin parts. The band is mainly inspired by Virgil Donati's (Planet X) and Steven Wilson's (Porcupine Tree) projects...

Taliban Monkey Soldiers - (Genre: Stoner Rock)
Incorporated is a group of young, ambitious musicians drawing satisfaction from making music. The band was created summer 2010 when Mariusz, Robert, Janek, Ziemek and Majkels decided to try, whether the combination of new metal with classic rock would work. The results were surprising and soon the first records have been created. Taliban Monkey Soldiers (formerly Incorporated) is a project created by the musicians of such bands as Unquadium, Lostbone, Blindfolded. TMS was formed summer 2010. Since then new records have constantly been created. TMS music is a combination of various kinds of music such as metal, stoner rock, hardcore and death metal.

The group was founded in 2006. The name comes from the initials of the names of the founders of the band. The idea was to play music author, which is why TAMA occasionally goes back to the covers - rather based on their own ideas. FROST COMMANDER is a heavy-speed-metal strike force on the mission to reinforce the local heavy metal underground. FROST COMMANDER was formed in October 2010 combining young talented musicians with a bit older and more experienced. This mix allowed a band to evolve rapidly. Junk Hustler - (Genre: Rock)
Junk Hustler is a rock band from Warsaw (Poland). People who create now JH are: Dominika (bass), Marek (guitar, backing vocal), Marcin (guitar) and Norbert (drums). The band now is looking on new singer! This four people plays in JH since September 2007 but its beginnings date back to 1994. The name "Junk Hustler" also emerged a long, long time ago and was inspired by lyrics of one of Slash's Snakepit's song. Present repertoire of the band consists of the compositions from a demo recorded in 2004 and of some new songs composed mostly in the last few months. Psychopath - (Genre: Thrash Metal)
Psychopath was founded in November 2008 in Warsaw by three men: Banan (guitar/vocals), Stopczyk (guitar) and Rotgar (bass guitar). Few months later the band recruited a new drummer called Dziad. The group's music oscillates in old school Thrash Metal with influence of bands such as Kreator, Slayer, Sepultura or Sadus. In August 2009 Psychopath recorded its first album entitled "Compulsive Submission". One year later the band registered second, more mature album "Avaritia", which has been released in May 2011 by Killing Force Records...
Dogmat - (Genre: Thrash Metal)
DOGMAT is a strong statement about the injustices of the World, about spreading lies and misunderstanding.. It is a story about a man who shouts and wants to be heard. A rebellion and opposition against the reality. It appeals to the conscience and common sense. The band began its activity in 2006 with the Drapery project. Their debut material combines metal and rock with poetic lyrics and met with favorable opinions of the reviewers and a warm welcome at the concerts. Since 2008 the band continues its work with some other members under the name of DOGMAT. A mix of trashmetal and progressive sound reminds the World of forgotten values...
Uniqplan - (Genre: Indie Rock / Electronica)
Formed in 2010, Uniqplan have already won the hearts and admiration of their ever growing audiences. The guys don't hide their brought-up-in-the-80s attitude. Inspired by such bands as Depeche Mode, MGMT or Kings of Leon, they created a totally exceptional blend of indie rock and electronica. Keeping that raw energy of rock they add the innocence of New Wave the final touch of New Romantic. A must listen! Uniqplan's debut album is expected in spring 2012...
Soulburners - (Genre: rock 'n' roll)
Soulburners are a rock'n'roll bomb playing explosive gigs in Poland and abroad since 2005. Members of the band are experienced musicians that are/were involved in other projects, like Black River, Wrinkled Fred, El Dupa, Coalition, Hundred Inch Shadow, Poker Face among others. Their disography consists of "Gonna Burn Your Soul" album (2008) and "Ride Again" EP which had its premiere in 2009. At this time Soulburners are working on their next album and getting ready for next year's gigs. If you're an AC/DC, Kiss, Motorhead, Turbonegro or Hellacopters fan and you love rock'n'roll - you gotta see Soulburners!
Sephiroth (Genre: Black Metal)
Sephiroth was created at the end of March 2010, with the initiative of Simon "Heretic" Kuźdub (leading guitar and vocals) and Maciej "Duartuss" Karbownik (drums). David “Moskal” Kosmal (bass) joined the band in 2011 (however, the main instrument of Moskal is an electric guitar). In 2011 they recorded a demo under the banner of the Sephiroth, called "Believe And Begone". The album was recorded at Sound Division Studio under the watchful eye of Filip "Heinrich" Hałucha (Vesania, ex-Decapitated). The recording sessions took place in late August and October. Heinrich smelted pure metal from Sephiroth. The demo contains three songs and one cover of Behemoth. Sephiroth played the first concert as a full crew 11/19/2011 at Metal Cave Pub, in Warsaw. Previously, Heretic and Duartuss played together at jam sessions.
Demer di (Genre: Progressive Rock)
Demer di is a name in the language of Tatars from steppes in Central Asia. It means "The Valley of Hallucinations". A legend exists that a blacksmith once lived in the valley, who chose to create a new race, superior to humans.
