Gdansk offers the visitor a number of interesting night time venues to enjoy; however these tend to be mainstream or geared towards the very young (students). if you want a wider choice of venue, then Sopot or Gdynia both offer a wide choice of venue.

During the Summer, the sun does not set until 10pm and rises just about the time you are staggering back to your hotel so you may not actually see any night on your night out, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the many nightlife venues on offer in the Tri-City. Unlike other popular tourist locations in Poland such as Warsaw and Krakow, Gdansk does not have a proper 'town square' so you will have to make an effort to find the best places to go or just head in one direction and see what you find (always fun!) and this usually results in a good night out as you will find pubs and bars in every direction.
