Our restauarant serves traditional Polish cuisine in an authentic old-style Polish peasant environment. Imagine jumping into a time machine and transporting yourself back in time to when food was simple but hearty and furnishings were simple - welcome to Chłopskie Jadło.
Our restaurant has been carefully furnished and decorated to provide our guests with the authentic feel of how Polish peasant houses used to look like, with beautiful old stoves, wagons, wooden benches, original farm equipment and all the other fixtures and fittings. Each of the rooms in Chłopskie Jadło resembles a museum but at the same time you will feel at home. Authentic furnishings and decorations combined with the smells of Polish cuisine wafting in from the kitchen all provide for a great atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on keeping alive old Polish customs and guests are provide a welcome snack of thick slices of rural bread, lard made with apples, garlic and marjoram and real cottage cheese mixed with chives and black salt.
Our guests are offered real countryside cuisine based on traditional Polish dishes such as rural breads baked in our own stoves, pork ribs, hand-made peirogi (Polish dumplings), bigos (stewed cabbage with meat and mushrooms) and 'Bieluch' soup.
